The Big Switch

Cows' milk for goats' milk

Calcium is important for you and your baby, but you don't always have to opt for cows' milk. It's mucus-forming, acidic and contains hormones, which should be avoided in pregnancy. Instead, try calcium-fortified rice milk, which is lighter, sweeter and great with cereals. Or how about goats' milk? It's a good source of calcium and is easily digested and very tasty. Most supermarkets stock rice and goats' milk.
