Some Holiday Cookies Seem To Get All The Attention.


3A cup Jif®Creamy Peanut Butter I Tbsp vanilla extract

!/i cup Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening I large egg

I f/4 cups firmly packed light brawn sugar i>A cups Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour

3Tbsps milk 3A tsp baking soda tsp salt


Heat oven to 375°F—Combine peanut butter; shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in a bowl — Beat at medium speed unlil well blended—Add egg—Seal until blended—Combine flour baking soda and sail—Add to creamed mixture at low speed — Drop by rounded Tbsp 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheet—Flatten slightly and draw star pattern with edge of fork—Bake for 7 to 8 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown—Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet—Remove cookies to cooling rack to cool completely—Makes 3 dozen cookies
